1. Introduction

Welcome to Sonia's Cupcakes ("we", "us", "our"), operating at soniacupcakes.xyz. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. We operate exclusively within the state of California, United States.

2. Delivery Area

We deliver only to addresses within California. We do not offer international shipping or delivery to any other U.S. state. Orders with addresses outside California will be cancelled.

3. Ordering & Payment

• All orders are Cash on Delivery (COD).
• No online payment is collected on this website — we never ask for card, bank, or wallet details.
• You pay in cash upon receiving your cupcakes at your door.
• After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation on the email address you provide at checkout, followed by delivery updates.

4. Pricing & Taxes

• All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars ($) and include applicable California state sales tax.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price shown at the time of ordering is the price you pay.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations are accepted up to 2 hours before your scheduled delivery window.
• If cancelled before dispatch, refunds are issued as store credit or a cash refund at delivery.
• No refunds are available for orders already out for delivery.

6. Delivery Times

• We deliver Monday–Saturday, 10am – 6pm PST.
• Orders placed after 2pm PST are delivered the next business day.
• Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees.

7. Product Quality & Allergens

• All cupcakes are made fresh daily in small batches.
• Our kitchen uses dairy, gluten, eggs, and nuts. Cross-contact may occur.
• Customers with allergies must notify us in the note field at checkout.
• We are not liable for allergic reactions that were not disclosed at the time of ordering.

8. Customer Responsibility

• You must provide a correct, complete California delivery address and a valid email address.
• Someone must be present at the address to accept delivery and pay in cash.
• If no one is present, we will attempt one re-delivery (an extra $2 fee applies) or cancel the order.

9. Privacy Policy

• We collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order details solely to fulfill your order.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We send transactional emails only — order confirmations and delivery updates — to the email address you provide at checkout. We may also send SMS delivery updates.
• You can opt out of any promotional emails at any time by replying "STOP" or using the unsubscribe link included in every email.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sonia's Cupcakes is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or delivery delays caused by weather, traffic, or events beyond our reasonable control.
